This apartment offers ample space and is ideal for clients who prefer to have their own sleeping space without bothering others. The layout of this neighborhood dates back to the Middle Ages. Various professions were represented here and have now given their names to the streets of the lower city. For example, the "Rue du Massacre" located near the Saint-André collegiate owes its name to an ancient slaughterhouse. Continuing along the banks of the Eure, we find the "Rue de la Foulerie". This name echoes the wool trades present in this part of the city. The "foulons" were responsible for the final phase of fabric preparation and cleaning. Other professions worked in this neighborhood, such as dyers. Finally, you could also find leather trades: "corroyeurs" and "mégissiers" on "Rue de la Corroierie" and tanners on "Rue de la Tannerie".
