Nous avons apprécié l'accueil, la gentillesse et la réactivité des hôtes qui nous ont laissés de l'autonomie dans le château. Le lieu est dépaysant et la vue magnifique

Just outside the much visited medieval village of Lautrec lies Chateau de Montcuquet with commanding sunset view of the village, valleys and hills, the characteristics of a true chateau fort. It has three defensive towers, three stories, and three wings. With its trio of wells, a central courtyard, a dungeon, a meticulously manicured garden at its entrance, and a small woodland expanse at its rear, the castle stands as a testament to history. A tree-bordered driveway is overseen by a pigeonnier, its arches adorned with the date 1662, a relic of the past. The castle itself traces its origins back to the 1300s, as revealed by ancient archives. The interiors have been thoughtfully repurposed into spaces for yoga practice, meditation, relaxation, communal living, and accommodations for those embarking on journeys to this captivating region.
Owners and hosts of the chateau fort Chateau de Montcuquet. They welcome bed and breakfast guests in between rereats and yoga trainings.
Nestled in the serene French countryside, Lautrec is a medieval village radiating timeless charm. Situated in the Tarn region, it's renowned for its tranquil atmosphere, cobbled streets, and captivating architecture. Lautrec offers respite from urban bustle, inviting visitors to embrace nature's beauty and a slower pace of life. Just an hour's drive from vibrant Toulouse and 30 minutes from historic Albi. The iconic windmill atop a gentle hill speaks of Lautrec's heritage, while the cross offers panoramic views of the sunlit countryside, Montagne Noire, and distant Pyrenees. Lautrec's heart holds La Collégiale Saint Rémy, a historic monument reflecting its spiritual significance. Nearby villages within Lautrécois-Pays d'Agout offer intricate walking and cycling trails, unveiling rustic charm. Close by, Albi awaits with history and culture. The Toulouse Lautrec Museum, Cathedral of Saint Cecilia, and Palais de la Berbie enrich the city.
