Rose Cottage is a stone built detatched cottage with original oak beams and a traditional cottage feel. It has 2 bedrooms, with the master bedroom having a king-sized brass bed and the second bedroom can be arranged as a king size, or 2 double beds, as you prefer. The bathroom has a full sized bath and walk-in shower. There is a large comfortable open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped. The cottage has a private garden with lovely rural views down to the l'Oust river and Brest to Nantes canal, just a few minutes walk away. In the main shared garden is a children's play area and a pool, perfect for cooling off on warm days.

My husband and myself moved to Brittany in 2016 to enjoy a more relaxed way of life after holidaying here with our family for many years. We love living here and we wanted to create gites that we would be happy to stay in, and we are very pleased and proud with the results.

We are in a lovely area of central Brittany. We enjoy the peace and tranquility of country living whilst a day out at the beach on the southern or northern coasts of Brittany are no more then an hour away. We are between 3 villages (one has a good sized supermarket) so all amenitied are withing easy reach. The Brest to Nantes canal is just a few minures walk away and is perfect for strolling or cycling this lovely route. Josselin, a fabulous medieval village with an amazing chateau is just 20 minutes away and is typical of the many quaint towns and villages in this part of France.
