We are a Swedish couple who realized our dream and bought an old Maison de Maître in the south of France and turned it into a great B&B. We have a past in Stockholm with a long experience to run restaurants, catering and a B&B. We are passionate about this region, culture, history and of course wine. We love the breathtaking surroundings, the climate, the food, the sun and the wine. Our vision is that D’oc D’or shall provide a home away from home, were our guest always will feel at ease and get an experience that will reflect their expectations and more. Every day, we will do our outmost to meet our guests needs and serve a fabulous value to your day, through attention to detail, exceptional surroundings, attentive service, great encounters, fabulous dining experiences , hard work and PASSION.

Dreams come true.....what has become our home and heart in Sud de France, Languedoc, we now want to share with you. Welcome to D'oc D'or, a charming Maison d'hôtes/Bed & Breakfast in rural France, located in the pretty medieval village of Murviel-lès-Béziers, which overlook the vineyards. D'oc D'or means The Golden Occitan, but is also a game with words referring back to all the money -"gold", that have changed hands during its time and the wine as the "gold" of the region. We have 5 rooms and a studio, newly renovated to their former glory, all with private bathrooms, ceiling fan, reversible air condition, central heating and stunning views from french balconies. We have nice common areas for you to hang out, like dining and sitting room, lounge where you can enjoy a glass of wine with the other guests or with your hosts. A lovely shaded garden with several secluded "rooms" to sit, dine, drink or just hang out. At poolside, you can enjoy basking in the sun in your deckchair or a nice cool swim in the pool. Your hosts look forward to welcome you!

Languedoc-Occitanie is one of the 13 regions of France. It is the southernmost region of mainland France and is as close to skiing in Andorra as to tapas in Spain. The region has a broad diversity to offer, all from culture, history dating back to the Romans, wisigoths an Cathars as modern cities as Montpellier, which is the fastest growing city in France next to Paris. Languedoc and especially the department of Herault, is the centre of the wine production in South of France. Since the70s the quality of wine has vastly improved and you can now enjoy fine wines for very moderate prices while visiting the local producteurs. Many wine producers are now using modern techniques and welcomes you to try their products. There are a lot for everyone, with the vicinity to the mountains for trekking, rivers and waterfalls, biking, hiking and canoeing, the Mediterranean with lovely beaches, fantastic seafood, good restaurants. A boat trip on the Canal du Midi is also exciting. Listed heritage sites as Carcassone, Aigues-Mortes and St Guilheim-le-Désert awaits you. Many picturesque villages with nice houses , restaurants and a view just waits for you to explore them. Welcome to our home!
