A charming town with lots of great, fresh seafood options. Stay away from the touristy, over-priced restaurants along the canal though. I highly recommend that visitors speak some French, there were not a lot of English speakers here and I was glad that I can speak intermediate level French. The beaches are beautiful, I especially enjoyed Plage de Baleine. Parking is easy and the beaches are all sand, no need to be concerned about rocks.

A delightful town with great seafood in many restaurants around the historic canal-side old town. Miles of beaches which can be reached by bus, but better by car. A short an easy train ride into Montpellier, which is well worth a visit.

Beautiful beaches. Lovely town with impressive Marina and quays and sea Theatre. Excellent bus routes and great restaurants.
Visit of the Mont St Clair is a must with stunning panoramic view and old Chapel.
Aquatic Jousting spectacles in August.

Its a port city - great seafood, quirky shops, marvellous square with an octopus sculoture that had us intrigued!
We loved breakfast at Le Maison Verte and drinks and snacks at several places in that square!

The very nice host who met us and showed us how things worked (key lockbox, motion-sensitive lights, smart lights, parking - complicated in Sète!) and gave us recommendations for places to eat, things to see etc. along with a tourist map. Unusual flat meant we didn't feel like we were in an impersonal hotel room or the typical grey rental place.

A lovely, comfortable and thoughtfully designed hotel with a very friendly and helpful host, we really enjoyed our stay. It has a great location in the heart of Sete on a fun and busy square. Despite that, the room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable - with a ceiling fan to stay cool in the night. Would definitely stay again.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Although their garage was full the public car park was only 300 meters away. The staff were helpful and courteous. Pleasant courtyard for breakfast.
