Staying in the house of the watchtower, you will be able to feel the history of this house with its stone walls, its watchtower, its carved frame, its big beams and its staircase with a patina of the years, in a warm atmosphere. The house has been renovated to preserve this heritage. In the living room, you will find a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge - dining room with a connected TV. The 2 bedrooms have new bedding and bed linen is provided. In each of the bedrooms, there are wardrobes to store your clothes. The WIFI connection is free and of very good quality (fibre). The ladies' lane which gives access to the small courtyard is full of charm.
We like to renovate old houses to give them new life. We take care to leave the building materials visible and thus combine the new and the old to create warm atmospheres in atypical places. We choose to share these places with our friends and people passing through Ancenis for a few days or for longer periods. The arrivals can be done independently. We remain available if needed.
The Maison de l'Echauguette is one of the old houses in Ancenis, in the heart of the historic centre, a few steps from the castle. In the past, it was located within the medieval walls.
