We, Céleste and Theo Schoenmakers, are the owners of the lovely Domaine Le Moulin de Lande (official tourism business, RCS Aubenas) since early 2010. The beautiful and varied county of the Ardèche with its many possibilities, the old water mill with authentic cottages, the quiet surroundings in the middle of nature plus the little river flowing across the terrain attracted us to this place. We live all year round in the old water mill on the domaine. Theo works full-time at the domaine. In his spare time, he does online translations, develops the website of Le Moulin de Lande and develops apps for Apple iOS, such as L’Ardèche du Sud. Céleste combines work at the domaine with work as a general practitioner. We enjoy offering our guests a great vacation and helping them to find the special spots and activities of the Ardèche. During our time off we like to go walking or rock climbing. In winter time you may come across us on snowboards, skis or cross-country skis. Céleste enjoys making jams with the many types of fruit growing at our domaine. At our small-scale domain Le Moulin de Lande you will find space, nature, peace and quiet in the heart of the South Ardèche. Around an old water mill are four natural stone holiday homes surrounded by nature, next to a river with a private sandy beach.

Le Moulin de Lande is located in the Parc Naturel Régional des Monts d’Ardèche. The beautiful region of the Ardèche offers a range of possibilities for active vacations and relaxation. The Ardèche has many different landscapes to discover on foot, by bike or by car. Walks and bike rides start at your front door. You can practice many sports, such as canoeing, horse riding, fly fishing and much more. Beautiful medieval villages such as Largentière, Chassiers and Balazuc are worth a visit. There are interesting markets every week, such as in Aubenas, Largentière and Joyeuse. The Gorges de l’Ardèche and the Caverne du Pont d'Arc are only a short drive from the domain.
