A lovely light and peaceful apartment on the edge of the old town – perfectly positioned for the beach, restaurants and bars. Relax on the sunny terrace with morning croissants from the local bakery or have a glass of Provençal rose, watching the sunset – all from your private balcony We have everything to make your stay comfortable and easy – well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, loads of towels and air conditioning. There are two spacious sofas (one of which converts into a comfy double bed, flat screen TV and lots of books and games to play if you fancy staying in. Lovely bathroom with shower and bathtub and even a washing machine...just in case. Just a few minutes walk to the beach, market, restaurants, bars and shops and the marina Bringing a car? Free car parking is 10 minutes walk away at Fort Carré or you can pre book the Parking Pre aux Pêcheurs or la poste just two minutes walk away. Want to explore the rest of the Riviera? We are a short walk to the train station where its just 10 minutes from Cannes by train, and onto Nice, Grasse, Monaco and beyond into Italy. The airport is easily accessible via 250 bus from Nice Relax, explore and enjoy the Riviera lifestyle
I have been coming to Riviera for over 20 years and love the food, sunshine and the amazing access to sea, snow and mountains. I live in Cipières, a village in the Pre Alpes yet just 50 minutes drive from Antibes. I have renovated a maison de village and now looking for my next property. I have always worked in retail all my life - first in department store then for Tesco and Books in the UK. I love welcoming guests to my beautiful apartment and happy to show you round, introduce you to the best restaurants, coffee shops and wine bars to make your stay amazing. i have two children who are 26 and 24 and they used to love coming to Antibes and the Riviera when they were little and I love being able to create memories for the next generation. I love travelling and food and looking forward to getting back to seeing the world as the borders reopen. I have loved Bali, Malaysia and Morocco best so far but of course adore France and have travelled extensively during the pandemic. I have recently got a puppy Tao who was rescued from Mauritius and is adorable. He loves both the beach and also the mountains. Anything you need to know - I am here to help
The apartment is perfectly positioned to access all the best Antibes has to offer Experience the best of the Provençal market to buy some bread, olive and cheeses for lunch or sample the local street food - socca. Walk along the ramparts and enjoy the stunning views. There are numerous restaurants from high end Michelin star Le figuerier to local traditional Antibois cuisine alongside pizzerias, vegan burgers and so much more. Or you can even stay in and have great food delivered Enjoy the safe sandy beaches of Gravette and Illette within walking distance and have lunch at a local beach club. Several museums are within walking distance including the famous Picasso museum where Picasso lived in 1946 Take a stroll around the Port Vauban and marvel at the super yachts. Or treat yourself to a day charter. You can also take a ferry from Golfe Juan to Ste Marguerite island, Monaco or St Tropez And just a few minutes walk to the railway station where you can get a train to Monaco, Nice or Cannes. And there is a direct train to Grasse if you fancy making your own perfume.
