Featuring a terrace, Best Western Hôtel Journel Saint-Laurent-du-Var is located in Saint-Laurent-du-Var, 3.2 km from Palais Nikaia Concert Hall. We have been upgraded. There was a super large bed and a terrace.
Hotel Villa Victorine is a family-run hotel located in Nice, just 2 km from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport and within 150 metres from the beach, The Promenade des Anglais and Ferber Park. Beautiful gardens to sit in whilst sipping on a hot or cold drink. Lovely staff lovely stay 🙏

Located in Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Hotel Le Gabian offers a garden and a terrace. The property is 8 km from Nice Riviera Stadium. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Quiet location, not a hint of planes taking off at the nearby airport.
This hotel is located just a few minutes from Nice Airport and 100 metres from the beach and the port. It offers individually-decorated rooms with free Wi-fi access. Good location close to airport, beach, bus and railway
Featuring a seasonal outdoor pool, ANIS Hotel is located on a hill 5 minutes' drive from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport and 6 km from Allianz Riviera Stadium. Very cute and friendly people at the reception; brand new bed sheets in my chamber; an apple juice...
We visited out of season to attend a concert so it wasn't a beach holiday. I can imagine during the holiday season it's a lively place. There were enough bars/restaurants open on the beachfront and these all seemed quite busy. During the day we caught the train to Nice and spent the day there. Public transport is highly efficient and inexpensive. Nice is 15 mins away on the train. The hotel is literally 5 minutes from the airport so very handy.
there is a fabulous north Indian restaurant nearby on the waterfront (ate 4 nites out of 7) Easy commuting distance to Monacco and Ventimilia in Italy. Also close to Cannes. there is a large upmarket supermarket catering for all things nice within easy walking distance in a shopping Mall.
What we like about our stay. The buses are great for getting about. Number 300 will take you from Nice to Cannes. The 500 will take you from Nice to Gasse. If you have young children, 2/16years you must go to a place called Le Bois Des Lutins. I've never seen an outdoor park like this before. I and are children absolutely love it. Pack a picnic, towels, swimmers. And take the number 500 bus.
Nice place to stay if coming through Nice Airport. Easy walk to beach and restaurants on seafront, with marina and boats to look at, and not a bad place to watch the planes taking off and landing at NCE.
On the coast, handy for a dip! Lots of bars and restaurants and also a lovely shopping centre. Easy for the train so made it easy to explore the various, amazing, towns and villages along the coastline. Also easy for the bus into Nice, which we took a few times.
Saint-Laurent-du-Var is possibly underrated; it is ideally located by Nice Airport, has a large beach albeit pebbles with some grey sand and is served by Cap 3000, a large shopping area. My wife and I have stayed here three times but have used it as a stop over prior to going onto a Villa or prior to catching a late flight. Why not stay? It is near to the airport and so you do hear the engine noise and there are few beach facilities compared to other resorts. That said it is an ideal place as a base from which to tour other parts of Nice and surrounding towns.
