Often tooted as one of the most attractive places in the UK, Clifton is famed for its beautiful Georgian architecture, beautiful views and leafy tree-lined terraces and crescents. The iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge and Clifton Observatory offer stunning views over the Avon Gorge and River Avon, whilst Clifton Village is known for it's array of quirky cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries. Head further into the city and you will find plenty of museums and things to do. We particularly love walking along the Harbour and Wapping Wharf, where you will find the historic Brunel's SS Great Britain and a collection of shipping containers turned independent restaurants, bars and shops with a buzzy, trendy atmosphere. Further afield, head into into the Somerset countryside for plenty of nature, countryside walks and places to visit. Ashton Court Gate is just a 10 minute drive, or head a bit further to places such as Frome, Bruton and The Newt Country House & Gardens.
