Short Stays at Zayne’s Place was founded by husband-and-wife team Rodney & Sharon Reid. They were inspired to set up their own service accommodation (SA) business after first collaborating with a vast network of nationwide SA operators to gain valuable experience. Fast forward to the present day, Short Stays at Zayne’s Place are in the process of building a burgeoning portfolio with Gainsborough House at the helm; there are plans for more SA properties with specific focus on Bristol and Cardiff. In addition to catering to the leisure traveller, Short Stays at Zayne’s Place are also committed to providing serviced accommodation for both corporate professionals and contractors. Short Stays at Zayne’s Place presents Gainsborough House, a recently refurbished spacious 3 bed located within walking distance of Penarth Beach (1.1m) & Marina (1.0m), along with easy access to Cardiff City Centre (3.1m). The space: Make yourself comfortable in our bright, airy home which comprises of a kitchen/dining area situated at the front, stocked with newly bought appliances and every day essentials. Relax in the spacious, tastefully furnished lounge equipped with a cosy sofa, stylish tub chair, smart TV and quirky cocktail trolley. Need to catch up on some work? No problem, our conservatory complete with a work desk and ergonomic chair has you covered. Sleep soundly in our extremely comfortable beds which boasts fine, hotel standard linens. Park your vehicle(s) in our large, private driveway, any additional vehicles can be parked on the street for FREE. Guest access: Free reign of the house with the exception of the garden shed & loft. Other things to note: Penarth Station: 7-minute drive & 20-minute walk. Cogan Station: 2 - minute drive & 7-minute walk. Penarth Town Centre: 4- minute drive & 16-minute walk. Tesco Superstore: 4-minute drive & 12 – minute walk. Cardiff Bay: 11-minute drive & 34-minute walk. The Ocho Lounge is our personal fave (due to the vegan options) and is situated on nearby Windsor Road, which is just a 15- minute walk away from Gainsborough House, or a 3 -minute drive away (we’ve driven there, to our internal shame!) Penarth Pier Pavilion is an 8 - minute drive and about a 25 -minute walk from Gainsborough House. The pier was opened to the public in 1895 and is one of the last remaining Victorian piers in Wales...Fun fact! The last paddle steamer, the Bristol Queen operating from the pier, was finally withdrawn in 1966.
