Our names are Lynne & Mike and we are here with our team, Ian and Fernando, to give you a holiday you will remember for a long time with lots of wonderful memories that will feed your soul for days, weeks and months to come. As a young girl, I spent many fun filled school holidays with my two sisters in Pateley Bridge with my parents who owned a caravan here for over 30 years. How things come full circle! I find myself drawn back once again to the peace, joy and tranquillity this area of outstanding natural beauty offers. So having made the decision to hang my corporate shoes up, Mike and I set about setting up our first holiday let in an area we both knew well and a place which truly holds a very special place in our hearts, and combine business and pleasure with our new venture, Luxury Parker Properties with our first property being Hilltop Snug.

A hug from the snug! Hilltop Snug is warm and welcoming and has a wonderful natural flow. The whole of the ground floor can be made one, airy open plan room, or the kitchen/diner can be separated from the living room with pocket doors. The tasteful kitchen is complete with Laura Ashley fittings, Siemens and Swan appliances and all the utensils you would need to make self catering an easy option. All the bedrooms have bedside tables and built in wardrobes. Three have additional drawers and dressing tables. There is one spacious family bathroom with a shower over the bath. On the second floor there is an en-suite shower room that serves the twin room. All the beds are just dreamily comfortable. The courtyard style outdoor seating areas to the front and rear of the house are both little sun traps. Great for that bit of eating and drinking Al fresco with friends and family. Unusually, there are two dedicated parking spaces to the front of the house with an Electric charging point (three pin connection). There is a convenient, outside hosepipe which will help clean those muddy boots, dogs, bikes, or cars. The location is perfect. At the top of the High Street with easy access to the amenities. We offer the option for guests to book how ever many bedrooms and bathrooms they need; there are 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. This helps to keep keep costs as low as possible for smaller parties of people but still enjoy the sole residency of the property.

Pateley Bridge is the perfect base for walking, cycling, exploring or just enjoying a day in the countryside.The town boasts historic buildings, delicious food from local producers and a history stretching back for centuries. It has an idyllic and award winning high street that looks as though it was designed with postcards in mind. Here you will find locally produced food and drink, gifts and keepsakes as well as traditional Yorkshire hospitality in cafes, pubs and tearooms. The little courtyards and ginnels that lead off the high street contain curiosities and gems that are part of the town’s charm. Many of the town’s historical buildings have found new uses, from the workhouse that now houses a museum and craft workshops, to the Methodist chapel that is now a theatre. At the foot of the high street, is the River Nidd. Here, the river has gained some size since its birth 15 miles up the valley. Here the Nidd alternates between shallow babbling activity and slower wider and more peaceful sections. With riverside walks up and downstream, the Nidd is great for exploring nature and spotting wildlife. There is a recreational park and band stand in the local Park for all to enjoy.
