Absolute Stays was born from my experience as a lawyer. My job required travelling to various cities and towns within the UK for court proceedings and legal matters. I frequently found myself staying overnight for short and long periods to conduct various airings. I never had the luxury of staying in a place that was to my taste or a place that felt like home. My most attractive stays were always hotels due to their convenience. I struggled on a personal level with finding comfort and with being confined to one room as seen in most hotels and bed and breakfast. From my travels I came to the realization that there were several things hotels didn’t offer. The idea of having more space for example; a kitchen, living room, bedroom etc (which were more suited to my needs especially being away from home) was grand and as such the idea of having a home away from home came about.

Absolute Stays on Essex is a modern two bedroom accommodation that provides comfort that one misses when they are away from their own home. In bedroom number one you will find a large double bed with all the amenities needed along with a beautiful view of the courtyard. Bedroom number two has two twin beds and a beautiful a view of the courtyard also. The living room has a sofa bed that folds out into a double bed which sleeps an additional two persons. The living room and dining room also has a stunning view of the Essex courtyard. There is a large bathroom with a bath with shower and all the amenities needed. The apartment comes with a flat-screen TV with Netflix and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with a microwave, a fridge, a washing machine, an oven and a stovetop. The key is stored at a Keynest that is 2/3mins away from the property on Horse Fair Road. Guests are required to visit the keynest first before going to the property. Details for the keynest are sent two days before your arrival. Please note also that secure parking is available for one vehicle onsite. Additional parking can be found infront of the property. Street parking is subject to availability. Please note also that there is a cctv inside the property that covers the entrance of the door only to ensure safety.

The Essex is situated in the center of Birmingham's night life which includes the Gay Village, The loft Lounge and within 100 m you will find other beautiful and exciting venues. The Birmingham Hippodrome a prominent theatre is only 300 m walking distance from the apartment. Further on from the apartment you can find China Town that has alot of Chinese restaurants, bars and supermarkets for your entertainment and convenience. The Arcadian is another highlight of Birmingham which houses a series of wine bars, restaurants and places that are opened significantly late for your entertainment. Despite the closeness of the various events taking place, once you step inside the Essex it is very quiet and peaceful we often say "The City Outside. Tranquility Inside."
