Within easy reach too of the National Trust properties of Plas Newydd and Penrhyn Castle and also convenient for the Anglesey Circuit (13 miles) and the Holyhead to Ireland Ferry (23 miles) you may never rest. The area offers many attractions to birdwatchers and other nature enthusiasts. Newborough Forest is a great destination for red squirrels, sand and sea and is the most idyllic setting with miles of beach and Llanddwyn Island at its end. For food lovers there is the Michelin Star restaurant “Sosban and The Old Butchers” and “Dylan’s” a short 13 minute drive away in Menai Bridge and en route to Newborough Beach is “The Marram Grass Cafe” – famous for its local produce and an 8 minute drive away.
