The lavender flowers from June and for several weeks the rows of plants make a spectacular sight. Snowshill Manor House and Gardens, this National Trust property is well worth a visit and just a short walk from Apple Cottage and is home to the extraordinary collection of the treasures accumulated by Charles Wade throughout his lifetime – from tiny toys to Samurai armour.
