If you’re looking for budget comfortable accommodation then we are just the place for you. No we don’t offer boutique living we offer a comfortable base at an affordable price. Ashington's Home from Home is a traditional Colliery House in the heart of the Mining Town of Ashington, Northumberland. Just a short drive to the Coast in one direction or to the Country side in the other. The property is also just a short walk to the Wansbeck River which has some beautiful walks and a Play park for the children. For those needing access to the A1 or the A19 then this property is perfectly located. NB This property is in a residential area of Ashington. Please note that included in the price of your stay is 1 set of linen for each bed, towels, 1 bin bag, kitchen sponge and 1 Toilet roll. Anything additional to this you will need to provide yourself.

We are very lucky in Northumberland we have so much on our doorstep. Firstly we have a beautiful coast line with many different places offering some of the best fish and chips in the country. We have our spectacular castles with so much history steeped in the area as well as walking in the foot steps of the Roman's at Hadrians Wall. The walks in Northumberland are plentiful and cater for all abilities. A short drive away are some great Cities such as Newcastle, Durham and Edinburgh. Northumberland makes a great stop off for those anting to stop gap on their way to bonny Scotland.
