The Byre at Back Borland Holiday Cottages. Converted from the original cow byre harking back to the days when Back Borland was a working farm, the Byre sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms. A bespoke wooden staircase leads to a double bedroom with a king-size bed upstairs, and there is an adjacent shower room/wc. The views from here are spectacular! There is a further double bedroom on the ground floor, also with a king-size bed, and an en-suite shower room with wc, and a large shower enclosure. This room is on the level with all the living accommodation, making it ideal for those with limited mobility. Two shallow steps lead to the two twin bedded rooms, which are next to the family bathroom. There is a separate shower cubicle, as well as a jacuzzi bath and wc. The open plan living/dining/kitchen area is a large, bright space all on one level, enhanced by large wooden beams framing the apex of the ceiling. The focal point is the wood burning stove, which can be turned to face either the dining area or the conservatory. There is a small, enclosed garden with a wooden table and bench-seat, which offers privacy as well as a safe space for children to play. The 'endless' swimming pool and hot tub are a major draw for many of our guests, and are only ever used by one cottage at a time, so use is always private. There are 4 hours per day of allocated private use for each cottage, as well as '1st come, 1st served' time each afternoon, ensuring both guaranteed privacy as well as flexibility. Please note the property is accessed by a rough farm track and, while easily accessible by most family cars, may not ne suitable fpr vehicles with low ground clearance e.g. Sports cars etc.
