Eals Lodge is a lovely four bedroom character home (two bedroom with flat screen 42" Smart Tvs) with superb living accommodation. Along with the main bathroom the home also has two en-suite shower rooms, FREE WIFI, NETFLIX & SKY TV and a large kitchen with centre island. The home has been equip to a high standard to anticipate your needs by providing all the things you might want for a luxurious stay. We live in a beautiful hamlet within 4 minutes drive to Kielder reservoir. One of the many reasons we have visitors all through the year are due to the numerous walks which are literally on our doorstep and our home overlooks the North Tyne river. Our philosophy is that we want you to have a wonderful holiday and we want that for you too. We believe that when you are here this is your home for however long you are staying and that you will be relaxed, comfortable and happy. Kielder boasts an abundance of leisure activities to keep you active and on the move! From local walks, sailing and cycling and of course within a 25 minute drive are the amazing archaeological Roman sites which must be visited. We hope you enjoy your stay in our home. Andrew & Anna

We've put together 10 years of area knowledge for you to enjoy! Favourite restaurants, tourist locations and more. There is also a bound area guide in the home when you book your stay with us giving lots of information of what the area has to offer. We first came to the National Park back in 2012 and simply fell in love with it. The area boasts so many opportunities and activities that you will keep yourself busy no doubt. We have sought to equip our home to a high standard and to anticipate your needs by providing all the things you might want for a luxurious stay. The washing machine is located in the kitchen so that you don’t have to worry about luggage restrictions if coming from overseas. You want to have a wonderful holiday and we want that for you too. Kielder Water – Kielder NE48 1BT Home to England’s largest forest and the biggest man-made lake in Northern Europe, Kielder Water & Forest Park is a playground for cyclists, walkers and outdoor enthusiasts. A haven for wildlife, the best dark skies in England and award-winning art & architecture… Kielder will inspire, surprise and enthral you. Kielder Observatory – Sited in the largest gold tier-protected dark sky park in the whole of Europe. You can walk up to the Observatory during the day and enjoy the spectacular views but there are no facilities available during the day. Skyspace, a circular sculpture which is illuminated by a combination of natural and artificial light at different times of the day, can also be accessed via the track to the Observatory. During dusk, the changing light conditions create a rich and unforgettable display of tone and colour. To book the observatory we advise that you do it sooner rather than later as it gets booked up quick. The Campaign for the Protection of Rural England (CPRE) say the star-studded skies above Kielder Water & Forest Park are the darkest in England
