Just a 13 minute drive from Beech Cottage, you will find the lively market town of Honiton, famous for lace, pottery, and the antiques capital of the South West. Art lovers should take a trip to the Thelma Hulbert Gallery, featuring local art and frequent events and workshops. For aviation lovers, you will find The Dunkeswell Airfield Heritage Centre, just a 25 minute walk, or 5 minute drive away. Take in the pretty scenery and take a walk along the East Devon Way, or find a secluded spot on Sidmouth Beach, to soak up the sun.
