Butts Cottage is a 200 year old stone built cottage situated in Farnley Tyas and benefits from an ideal location for walkers. The cottage can sleep three people in one double bedroom and one single bedroom. There is a modern shower room with basin and toilet. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen, a living/dining area and a snug with gas fire and Smart TV. There is off road parking for two cars. Outside there are enclosed lawned gardens with furniture, backing onto a woodland area with footpaths. Butts Cottage is a charming cottage, perfect for a romantic getaway to enjoy this timeless piece of England. Note: Maximum occupancy is three adults. Farnley Tyas is a quiet West Yorkshire village set in a corner of the rural Southern Pennines. Now gaining popularity with walkers, cyclists and horse riders. The majority of the village is designated as a conservation area with a number of listed buildings. The surrounding countryside to the north and west is designated as 'An Area of High Landscape Value'. Nearby is the local landmark Castle Hill. On top are the remains of an iron age fort, the fortification banks and ditches are easily recognisable. There is lots to see and do here, Sid's Cafe, Nora Batty's house, Summer Wine Tours, with some supermarkets, independent shops and eateries.
