The open plan double bedroom with ensuite is both light and airy with sweeping views of the Cornish countryside. Your own balcony allows for relaxing outside and taking in the views whilst enjoying your complementary breakfast. The room also includes a (silent) mini fridge, TV for DVD's, Wifi and kettle with tea (inc. herbal) & coffee. The space Your loft room is an idyllic romantic retreat for couples, tucked away in the beautiful Cornish countryside with St Ives and Porthleven just a short hop away in either direction by car. The quiet and spacious bedroom has a double bed with organic cotton sheets, throws and cushions. You can curl up and enjoy a good range of books and DVD's or simply enjoy the views from the large glazed gable window. Black out blinds and curtains ensure a good nights sleep. The room comes with a private, modern ensuite, including shower, toilet and double wash basin as well as towels and toiletries. There is plenty of underbed storage and hanging space for your stay. Included is a simple complementary breakfast which can be enjoyed in your room or sitting outside on your private oak framed balcony. Breakfast consists of a choice of Cornflakes, Crunchy Nut Cornflakes or Muesli with fresh organic milk, which is replenished for you each day or as required. A silent mini fridge in the room can be used to chill drinks, extra food or snacks that you may wish to bring. You can also help yourself to complementary tea, coffee and herbal drinks. Guests can also enjoy access to their own private south-facing courtyard garden to the rear of the cottage which includes a BBQ and outside table and chairs to embrace alfresco dining. There is a designated parking space for you at the front of the house to enter via your own private entrance with ease.

I live and work in south west Cornwall with my husband Tim. I have also been hosting our beautiful loft room with ensuite for four years now. There are many reasons why I love hosting but I particularly enjoy meeting and welcoming new people to our newly restored and renovated cottage. It is also a real joy to share this amazing county with enthusiastic holiday makers and recommend our absolute favourite spots to visit. We love spending as much time outdoors as possible... walking, running, cycling, paddle boarding, surfing and swimming. We love to travel and explore new places, and we enjoy good food; cooking it, eating it and sharing it with good friends. We also have a passion for music and visit festivals and concerts when possible. As designers, we also both enjoy soaking up the history, culture and art of the places we visit as well.

It is a perfect escape for those seeking to explore Cornwall whilst also offering somewhere peaceful and relaxing to return to at the end of the day. We are ideally located in a small hamlet in the heart of Cornwall just outside Helston, with easy access to both north and south coast locations by car. We are set in a rural location, down a bridal track lane and have chippings on our driveway. If you have a lowered vehicle, sports car or long-wheelbase van/ motorhome, then we suggest that this property is unsuitable for you to book. We accept no responsibility for any damages incurred to your vehicle during your stay as we have been very clear on the nature of the surrounding terrain. While we are not within walking distance of any eateries, we have a long list of tried and tested recommendations and there is are also local take-away delivery services that will deliver here if you prefer. Previous guests have usually commented on how much they enjoy being able to explore a vast array of places in Cornwall due to our location. So whilst we have a peaceful rural surround - you can access a broad range of places very easily.
