Gemma was an absolute darling, she messaged me before our stay to let me know specific directions and informed us of where we could park which was great, parking is over the road but you can see your car from the window and the car park has CCTV so there were no concerns. The location of the property was ideal, literally across the road from the entrance to Portmeirion which is so beautiful, its a must visit if you're staying here. The key was easy to find with Gemma's clear instructions, the house was extremely clean, perfect for myself, my daughter and my mum, there is a trundle in the single room so the house is suited to 4 people too. The beds were sooooo comfy, we had such a great nights sleep which was needed after the walking we had done. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here, Gemma is a wonderful host and the house is perfect.

Property information

Bron Eryri is a cosy and comfortable end of terrace house within walking distance of the Italianate Village of Portmeirion. This location is excellent for exploring the famous mountains of Snowdonia as well as the coast of Merioneth and Llyn Peninsula. In addition to great days out on the Ffestiniog Railway, Harlech Castle, Zip World, Surf Snowdonia, Bounce Below, Forest Coaster and Coed-y-Brenin, to name a few. Bron Eryri is a compact, 2 bedroom, end terrace house accommodating up to 4 people. The property was renovated in June 2022, offering a modern, well equipped kitchen, including cooker, induction hob, microwave and washing machine. Along with a downstairs WC. The combined living and dining space provides the perfect place for all the family to unwind after a day of exploring! Upstairs, Bedroom 1 includes a Double bed. Bedroom 2 provides a single bed with pull out trundle bed (guests will need to set up the trundle bed if they wish to use it). The main bathroom comprises of a large standing shower, basin and WC. There is no parking space at the house, however, there is a spacious car park for residents just across the road, which you are welcome to use free of charge (see pictures for directions). A note for pet owners, please be advised that although we welcome pets at the property, we do not have a garden space for them to use. The rear of the property is privately owned and not available for our guests to access. We understand that this isn't ideal and apologise in advance for the inconvenience caused.

Neighbourhood information

Minffordd Train station is 300yards from the house if you're looking to explore Wales by rail. Alternatively, the bus stops are opposite, providing excellent connecting bus services to neighbouring towns and villages.
