The Deneside Guest House is a family-orientated establishment. All rooms at the Deneside come with a flat screen TV/DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities and towels for guests to use. Soap, hand sanitizer and face flannels for make-up removal are provided in all rooms. Free internet access is available throughout the property. The licensed dining room serves a full English breakfast and guests can pre-book for evening meals. The promenade with its sandy beach and central pier are 5 minutes' walk away and trams can be boarded there to reach most other destinations. Blackpool Tower, the Winter Gardens, Opera House and Grand theatre along with many of the bars, restaurants and the Hounds Hill Shopping centre are all with a 15-minute walk away. Blackpool Pleasure Beach and North and South railway stations can be reached in 5 minutes by car or taxi.

Run most of the time by the owner, with limited help, the very casual approach here we like to foster is that it is like visiting friends. You are expected to pay for any damages or missing items and be at all times conscious that we have young children and sometimes babies staying with us.

We are lucky here, in as much as most of the shops, theaters and restaurants are only a very short distance away, some offering free meals for children. Equally as close are the football ground, cinema and central pier. There is a children's playground 20 yards form the guest house and the main police station is only a little over 200 yards away with patrol cars passing frequently, so a safer than some neighborhood.
