The Apartment is a completely private area within our house for guests' exclusive use in a quiet cul-de-sac in Harrietsham village. Its a perfect place to stay for: Guests arriving/leaving Dover Ferry Terminal or Eurotunnel needing an overnight stop near to the motorway (we are 5 minutes from Junction 8 of the M20). Pilgrims Way Walkers to stay on their way to Canterbury from London. Pay and play golf at nearby Leeds Castle Visit the beautiful, tranquil lake with wild ducks and wild fowl 2 minutes away. Drive to the coast (Hythe) in 40 minutes Visit other National Trust Gardens (Sissinghurst Castle), historical houses such as Chartwell or other Castles in Kent (Hever or Dover). Stay while attending local weddings i.e. Leeds Castle or Chilston Park. This historical village nestled at the bottom of the North Downs is five minutes away from The Pilgrims Way with great walks and footpaths - for instance 5 minutes away there is an avenue of Beach trees that were planted each side for every child living after the first and second world wars) with stunning views from the top of the Downs. There are also stunning views from the top of th North Downs. Facilities in the apartment include: A comfortable place to relax when visiting friends, family, a short break or stopover as 5 mins to Junct 8 of M20. The flat has its own private entrance, small private garden fenced in, designated office area away from the main living area, a sitting room with TV and sofa bed, a full mini-kitchen (oven, microwave, fridge and washiing machine). The bedroom + King Size bed with ensuite. Welcome pack includes the milk of your choice, yoghurts, bread, butter, jam, marmalade, some breakfast cereal choices, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and a little fruit. There are two local restaurants that you can walk to and two local shops offering all that you would need for creating a meal plus numerous pubs and places to eat a short drive away. A Guide about all the above is left in the apartment.

Hi - Carolyn here, I have lived in Harrietsham with our family for over 30 years so know the area well. I enjoy all sports and travelling especially to see family abroad. We both play tennis at our local Club, enjoy walking and music. Following his career as a teacher Tony and I ran a family photography business for 16 years. The local countryside is amazing - we have added photos of the Harrietsham lake, walks on the North Downs and the Pilgrims Way. I very much look forward to meeting you. Carolyn or Tony will be available during your stay and the easiest way to contact them will be given upon arrival. They will take guests lead as to how much or any contact guests wish to have.

Leeds Castle is five minutes away and offers many activities throughout the year. Within 5 minutes you can be walking along and experience the beautiful views on the North Downs and Pilgrims Way. Three minutes walk will take you to a large lake offering tranquility with ducks and moor hens. 7 minutes walk to the Station and bus stops on the A20. Two small local food shops. Two restaurants - one Indian and one Bistro. There are many other places to visit including pubs and restaurants close by with specific details and contact numbers in the Guidebook available on arrival. Trains to London, Canterbury, Ashford and Maidstone every hour. Buses to Ashford and Maidstone every hour. Free parking throughout the village except for the Station. 35 minutes drive to Eurotunnel and 50 minutes to the Dover Ferries. 35 minutes to the City of Canterbury, 50 minutes to Tunbridge Wells.
