It’s easy to see why Broughty Ferry is known as "The Jewel in Dundee's Crown". The golden sands of the beach are great for a wander or you could even take a dip if you’re fond of a wild swim. History buffs and kids alike can enjoy a visit to Broughty Castle, or you can just check out the local shops, bars and cafes, While Broughty Ferry is a great destination in itself, it’s a brilliant base for exploring the area too. The apartment is just six minute’s walk to Broughty Ferry train station where you can catch a train into Dundee (just four miles away) or go further afield. Check out Arbroath for a walk along the famous red cliffs or pop into Dundee to see the V&A museum and other attractions. If you’re a keen golfer there are loads of great courses within easy driving distance including Carnoustie Golf Links, Montrose Golf Links, and The Old Course St Andrews.
