Forrester Cottage is a beautifully renovated, romantic cottage in the heart of Masham. The Master bedroom has a cast iron roll top bath in the bedroom, akin to the luxury suites in Swinton Park and Middleton Lodge, with panelled walls, double height ceiling, exposed beams and feature lighting throughout, with ensuite shower. The cosy open plan sitting room/kitchen with smart tv and wood-burner is perfect for those autumnal winter nights.

The thriving market town of Masham is situated on the River Ure in the Yorkshire Dales with a large selection of pubs, restaurants, cafes, butchers and local fruit and vegetable shops all within walking distance of the house. There is also a local market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Tour de Yorkshire passes through Masham every year and the local area provides wonderful cycling routes. Masham has two brewers, Theakston's Brewery and Black Sheep Brewery, both have a Visitors centre which offer great insights into the production of their beautiful beers, plus a great selection of beers to sample. Masham golf course Swinton Park and Spa are situated close by. Leyburn market town is also 20 minutes away with its market day on Fridays and Campbells, the independent food store which is a haven for food lovers, with local food and fine wine department. Just outside the town you will find Tennants the largest auction house outside London, try visit on a sale day if you can and if not they have a modern cafe, restaurant and shop making it a fun place to stop. The Cathedral City of Ripon is a short drive from the cottage and further on from there is the Sa town of Harrogate with the famous Betty's Tea Rooms and upmarket Shops. Other fun places to is it include Newby Hall, Brimham Rocks, Jervaulx Abbey and there are numerous walks surrounding Masham.qz\
