Francis Hollow is a newly renovated and beautifully appointed first floor apartment situated in the heart of Southsea. With 2 generous bedrooms, a sofa bed in the lounge and an open plan kitchen, it can comfortably accommodate 4 guests for stays of any duration and up to 6 guests for shorter stays when making use of the sofa bed in the living room. With wifi, lots of extra comforts and permits provided for on street parking, Francis Heights is a great place to stay whether you are visiting for work or pleasure. Situated in a traditional, Southsea street populated mostly with Victorian townhouses and just off Albert Road, the property’s location is excellent. Parking is free on the street although it does get busy in the evenings, particularly at weekends. However, it's just a 20 minute walk to Southsea beach and the South Parade Pier, as well as Canoe Lake which is a great area if you have kids with you. It’s only a 2 minute walk to the bustling Albert Road with its vast selection of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, an eclectic mix of boutique shops, the beautiful Kings Theatre and the Wedgewood Rooms (live music venue). Just a 10 minute drive gets you to the Historic Dockyard or to Gunwharf Quays for outlet shopping, restaurants, bars and a cinema. Also in close proximity, is the Pyramids Centre Swimming Pool and Gym, Southsea Castle, Museums, Blue Reef Aquarium, Clarence Pier (amusement park), Southsea Common and the Skate Park. If you are visiting for work, you can get to all the major areas of employment within 10-15 minutes.
