Haclin's cottage is located just outside of Fakenham in a small village called Stibbard, only a short distance from Pensthorpe Natural Park, a popular tourist attraction for the area. The village of Stibbard is home to the village church, ‘Stibbard All Saints’ and dates back to the early 14th century, it also has a small redbrick Methodist chapel. The small village of Walsingham is 15-minutes from the cottage, famed for it's religious shrines in honour of Mary, mother of Jesus, along with ruins of two medieval monastic houses. Well worth a visit for those who enjoy religious history and medieval architecture. The property is perfectly situated to provide you with a base to explore some of North Norfolk's gems such as Wells-next-the-sea, which is only 10 miles away, Holt is also a very popular north Norfolk location, and you can get there within 20 minutes by car. The market town of Fakenham is only 4.5 miles away; here, you can treat yourself to a pub lunch or visit some of the high street shops for a little bit of retail therapy. The city of Norwich is 20 miles away and easily accessible by car. Here you have everything from, independent shops, popular retail malls such as Chantry Place, pubs, restaurants, and an abundance of entertainment with a theatre, cinemas, ten pin bowling, escape rooms to name a few.
