Hidden Gem is a small entrance into a haven of comfort, calm and tranquility. The room is light and spacious and would suit a single person looking for a short stay for work or leisure. This is for the room only. Guests are encouraged to eat at local pubs and restaurants. There is a private parking bay which is large enough for a van or alternatively the grass verge opposite the house or free parking on the street. “Garden View” has a robust sofa bed with mattress topper and extra duvet on the mattress. This room is next to the bathroom and has a clothes rail. The TV is attached to the wall. Equipped with bath towels, dressing gown, disposable slippers, tea & coffee making facilities with biscuits, 50” television with sky tv, The bathroom has a folding magnetic door which does not lock. This has never posed a problem and if the door is shut then it is occupied. There is a separate toilet downstairs with a secure door and lock. Smoking is permitted in the garden. No issue with non-tobacco products.

The Host is a retired creative who is interested in people from different walks of life and would like to offer an alternative to the hotel enviroment. They also have a passion for dogs. Dogs live at the property so if you don’t like dogs please book elsewhere. They do not generally enter the rooms or show much interest after the initial meeting unless you want to, however, it is their home. A deposit will be requested so that I can provide the level of service I desire and we can both feel relaxed about it. I do not expect any issues, it just makes sure everyone receives the same service. This is a safe and inclusive environment. There is no tolerance of any form of discrimination. Anyone found to be disrespectful of this will be asked to leave. As this is a working house, check in is by appointment. Early/Late check in/out is available so please just ask prior to booking. Once booked - I am aware that flights can be delayed and times change but I do ask to be kept informed.

This is a very quiet residential area located equidistant to Harlow Town station, PA Hospital, Sainsburys and the Town Centre. The public transport is limited so taxis are useful for short trips. Parking is in a private bay or on the street as you prefer. Harlow Town station is 16 minutes into London or Stanstead.
