All properties offer fantastic access to the towns treasure's including the many cafés and restaurants, the beaches and of course the beautiful sea. Our team of Housekeepers and Property Managers are all local should you need to call for any assistance with anything.  We love that Saltwater Escapes' properties have become a home from home for many of our customers who have stayed with us year after year and are making traditions of their own and memories to treasure.

A secret gem! Grade II listed sailors loft on one of the oldest streets in Brixham with a unique outdoor space and stunning harbour views. As you open the gate set into the old stone wall of one of the most characterful streets in Brixham, you step through into what feels like a secret garden and are immediately captivated by the outstanding views from the unique outdoor space. This wonderfully positioned property places you in the heart of the town with views of the inner harbour that stretch right round to the Breakwater and the colour washed cottages beyond. Stone steps lead you down to the entrance of this 2 bed property which is arranged over two levels. You will feel like you have your own box at the theatre as you look out and enjoy the sounds of Brixham Town Band playing under the Old Fish Market in summer evenings. High Hopes is pet friendly and is the perfect base for all 4 legged friends to explore the surrounding coastal paths and beaches. Free on street parking nearby or parking permit can be arrange (charges apply).

Pets can be accommodated for an additional fee of GBP £35 per pet per stay. Please inform Saltwater Escapes in advance if you will be bringing any dogs.

Higher Street is very narrow and it is not possible to drive down the lane as far as where the gate to access the property is. It is possible to drive to within about 75 yards of the property where you can then unload on arrival before then parking up. There is no parking on Higher Street but free on street parking is available on neighbouring residential roads or alternatively Saltwater Escapes can arrange a parking permit for your stay which covers you for over 30 car parks in the area. Charges apply.

There are 20 steps that lead from the gate down to the entrance door of the property therefore High Hopes would not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties or unsupervised children. Please contact us with any questions regarding access.
