Hobbit Lodge is a new, modern, chic holiday lodge in the heart of the Ribble Valley. It's ideal for riverside rambles, wildlife, fine local dining, or just peace and quiet. Nearby is The Forest of Bowland – Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and with some of the most scenic landscapes in the country, it's been called ‘Britain’s best kept secret’. It’s from here you can journey to ‘The Centre of The Kingdom’ and follow in the footsteps of Tolkein along the nearby Tolkein Trail - the area that inspired J.R.R. Tolkein for Lord of The Rings. Or you can visit Pendle, made famous by the most notorious witch trials in English history, where you can visit ‘Witches Galore’, who sell ‘all kinds of deliciously devilish merchandise’ - great for kids. But if you don't want to go far, there's a large, heated, indoor swimming pool on site, together with crazy golf and daily activities for kids and adults. The area has some of the most unique and diverse dining to be found anywhere in the country. From award-winning pies at the Parkers Arms – featured on the Hairy Bikers, to gastro dining at the Inn at Whitewell – a favourite of H.M. The Queen. And if you want to travel further afield, the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Blackpool are all within an hour by car. This stylish, spacious, 2 bedroom home is situated in a very peaceful, newly developed area of Beacon Fell View Park. It has a steep rockface to the side - home to a family of kestrels, and open fields to the rear where deer roam freely. It has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and memorable, including, King-size double bed, large balcony with outdoor seating and parasol, TV and DVD with a selection of DVD's. The kitchen has a cooker and hob, microwave oven, toaster, coffee machine, all crockery and cutlery. There is an additional sofa bed in the lounge and a baby cot can be provided. High quality towels and linens are provided throughout. We accept friendly, well-behaved pooches and can provide bowls.

We love welcoming guests to Hobbit, and we take special pride in trying to make your stay friendly, comfortable and relaxing. If you're celebrating something special, please do let us know! We are animal lovers and dog owners. If you're attending a wedding or function during your stay or you need a helping hand with your precious pooch, we offer a 5* dog-minding/boarding service on our nearby farm. Together with our super-friendly, playful German Shepherd - 'Forest', your pooch will be walked, fed and generally pampered in our own home. We do charge extra for this and certain conditions apply.

This is a quiet, idyllic spot, and just a five minute walk away, the main park has a large indoor swimming pool, bar, crazy golf and seasonal, nightly entertainment for adults and children. The lodge is just a 15 minute walk from the town of Longridge which has supermarkets, restaurants and quirky bars.
