Hollyhock Cottage is a home from home with many luxury features, the main cottage has an undercover entrance with Table Tennis & Picnic table where you can sit and dine out on warm summer evenings, the stable door leads in to a fully equipped dining kitchen with dishwasher, double oven, fridge/freezer & microwave. (High chair available on request). Leading on from the kitchen is a large oak beamed lounge with comfortable leather sofas with foot stool seating up to 8 people, log burner (electric) for a cosy effect without the hassle and large flat screen TV & DVD player. The first double bedroom is on the ground floor alongside the laundry room and shower room with large floor level shower, vanity basin and high level toilet. (Shower seat available on request). Upstairs is the family bathroom with a further double and twin bedroom and the fourth double bedroom and ensuite is located around the back of the cottage in the annex which has its own undercover entrance for guests that love to retire to their own space and privacy. The entrance hall has a small fridge with tea/coffee making facilities and overlooks the Farmhouse courtyard. The cottage will be made up to your requirements complete with linen, towels and all of the basics to get you started. We also have travel cots available on request but ask that you provide babies bedding. High speed wifi throughout the property for those who like to stay in touch with the outside world but look for a place to stay where they can relax and unwind. The cottage is furnished and decorated to a 5 star standard with underfloor heating on the ground floor, radiators upstairs and heated towels rails in all of the bathrooms. We have recently had an Electric Vehicle Charging point installed for our guests who have embraced sustainability. The extensive grounds are laid out to give the guests somewhere to sit, BBQ and enjoy the wildlife, we have dotted benches and 2 summerhouses near the lake where you can sit and chill.

Richard and Kaye are committed to developing Lodge farm and it's gardens to be a haven for wildlife, and focus on delivering creating an environment of peace and tranquility away from the hussle and bussle of day to day life. There are seating areas dotted all around, for you to relax and even a pitching golf range in the front garden with clubs and balls available to use. We aim to have the cottage available for you arrival at 3p.m. and sometimes even sooner if we are able to.

We are surrounded by country houses, golf clubs, and few minutes away fro the world renowned town of Stamford. Stamford is often used as a filmset, for example, Pride and Prjudice, The Three musketeers, Middlemarch, Mission, and most recently featured in "The Crown" , Mission impossible to name but a few. Stamford is so historic it has more churches and Pubs per head of capita than any other town in England. Burghley House, thought to be the best example of Elizabethan architecture is in Stamford and often the home of many fabulous international events, e.g Burghley Horse Trials, The Rolls Royce and Bentley weekend, craft fairs, open air cinemas, concerts etc. If you enjoy water sports, fly fishing cycling the Rutland water is very close by.
