You might catch a famous name or two performing, as West End shows often come here before heading north to London. The South Downs is one of the most distinctive landscapes in the UK, with astonishing views, pretty red-bricked villages and lots of trails and paths to explore. Take a stroll along part of the South Downs Way, or wander through the wooded valleys of the Weald.
