A warm welcome to you, glad you found us up to here. 20 years ago we reconstructed our historic cottage, which is over 200 years old. We turned it into an environmentally friendly and self-sufficient house. The water is heated by solar panels and, when used, additionally by the fireplace, and the electricity is supplied by a wind turbine. It stands alone on the hill between the meadows where our animals graze. The views of nature, wildlife and the countryside are fenomenal. You have the opportunity to observe the animals in their natural behaviour, listen to the wind and relax on the swing of the old oak tree. It is a magical place that, with a little sensitivity, lets you feel the energy. At night, the stars are almost within reach and the full moon visits us once a month and illuminates everything at night. Good Wifi is available.

Clun Valley Organics is the inspiration of father and son, Trevor and Paul Wheeler, whose family have been at Brynmawr Farm since Victorian times. After the World War II chemicals, were introduced to increase food production. However, in 1999 Trevor developed a life-changing illness, which meant a radical re-think on the whole ethos of modern farming methods and the use of chemicals. The result is a modern, thriving farming business built on organic principles of free-range animal husbandry and chemical-free food crops. Our farm is very dynamic with many opportunities available to people on holiday, schools, hospitals, students, farmers, or everyone individually or in groups. Through care farming, we at Brynmawr aim for individuals to realize their full potential, whatever disadvantages life has thrown at them. We believe that engaging with and caring for animals, tending to plants and vegetables and performing simple productive tasks can help an individual to address their emotional, social and educational needs, growing and learning through farm activities.

The fresh country air, as well as the change, bring new energy, vitality, and power. In a moment of silence listen to the birds or the wind, what they have to tell. A highlight to watch is the beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the horizon and starry skies at night. The ancient and historic area in the Shropshire hills and only 5mi from the border with Wales offers many interesting sights such as castles, museums, nature reserves, or, walks and cycle rides. We are about 2 hours from Birmingham and Manchester Airports.
