Kiddlywink Cottage is a comfortable rural retreat 1.5 miles outside St Columb Major, yet close to all North Cornwall has to offer. Fully equipped and all on one level, there is a large open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room with vaulted beams, slate floors, a cute wood-burner and comfy sofas. A separate double bedroom and separate shower room completes the cottage. A short drive to many beaches and close to quaint fishing ports famous for michelin chefs, you'll not have time to do everything!
We will welcome you if we are around but may not be when you arrive. We live on site so if there is anything you need please just ask, otherwise we will leave you alone to enjoy your stay. There is an information booklet in the cottage with property information, listings of local amenities and useful numbers.
Located 1.5 miles to the north of St Columb Major, our hamlet is very small with the only public amenities being a lending library (converted telephone box), post box and a swing, but it is very peaceful! The nearest town is just over one mile away where you will find pubs, shops and takeaways. The nearest north coast beach is only five miles away and the south coast can be reached in a half hour drive. The capital city, Truro, is only half an hour. There is ample free parking outside the cottage. It would be a challenge to get around using public transport and the best way to explore is by car - either your own car or hire car. We are only four miles from Newquay Cornwall Airport.
