The property is a perfect 10! I don’t know what else Izzy could do to make the stay more comfortable and enjoyable. She has truly thought of everything - nespresso coffee, chocolates, soft drinks, Prosecco, beer, water, large tea selection, fresh milk, quality dining ware, heated bathroom floor, books, games - I could go on and on.

The hotel is situated by the beach and a short walk to the town centre. Easy to travel too. The hotel has lots of character. Would have liked to know more about its history.
The staff were nice and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They were always working hard. The room was really spacious and the beds were comfortable and clean. Good choice at breakfast would have loved some mushrooms though. We had a sea view and listening to the waves at night absolutely loved it. I would stay here again.

We really only booked the apartment because we like walking from Carbis Bay to St.Ives or to Hayle Beach. The beach at Carbis Bay is a good one and perfect for parents with little kids.
Becks fish and chips are the best in the UK. Really recommend it to anyone in the area.

Carbis Bay offers a serene coastal retreat with stunning views, pristine sands, and crystal-clear waters. Whether lounging by Bread & Breakfast or indulging in gourmet dining, every moment at Carbis Bay is a true delight. However, the hotel's location may require careful planning for those wishing to explore beyond the resort without a car. Overall, Carbis Bay offers a slice of paradise for those seeking a tranquil escape by the sea!

We chose the location for a short autumn break and it suited us because of the easy access to St Ives, Mount’s Bay etc. We also wanted to eat at the Ugly Butterfly as we are very keen on Adam Handling’s food.

Heater provided for room as it was a cold day, books to read was a good touch but all the same author ! DVDs to watch an excellent idea , tea and coffee was easy to make in room. , food was great , unfortunately private cottages at rear had barking dogs all night which totally ruined my stay as they were left outside all night barking , this was not the fault of my hosts, and they said they would report to the agents at rear, I would stay again here however and they accommodated my walk in shower wishes which was great
Great location ,within a pleasant short walk to beautiful Carbis bay. Very convenient for buses and train to St Ives, Penzance and Lands End. Tesco is 5 minutes drive. Excellent restaurants within walking distance; the Gannet Inn, Becks fish and chips and la Casita all serve lovely food. The property was fresh and clean, good shower and comfortable bed. The hostess is a warm, friendly and helpful kind lady.
