It is opposite the Philharmonic Hall, if you are at a concert and it is a late finish, this hotel is ideal for you. Beds are very comfortable, choice of pillows, lovely bathroom products in individual bottles, and good quality
Breakfast is continental, £10, plenty of fresh fruit, cereal yogurts, fresh pastries and unlimited tea or coffee..
The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Lime Street station. The hop on hop off bus stops outside. The staff are very helpful.

For a relatively small country, England certainly manages to pack in a wealth of tourist attractions, from Land’s End all the way to Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Such a friendly,helping and lovely staff at Avon Hotel.They helped us with everyting we needed,city instructions,Oyster cards,socket adapter,taxi for the airport.I felt so sorry I didnt had the chance to say goodbay with a big hug because of the early hour we left.I recomand Avon Hotel,it is closed to eveeything,15- 20 min to anywhere you wished to go.The Paddington station is 3 min walk.We only used the undergound and not the bus.The Hyde Park is 5- 10 min walk and it is amazing to visit.We basically walked from Hyde Park to Victoria station.The breakfast was also very good and tasty,with coffee,orange juice, tea,fruits.In London it is not easy to find a hotel which offers also breakfast,therefore for this location is a plus and it is something what we were looking for when choosing the hotel.Highly recomomend Avon Hotel!

It was a wonderful visit as part of PhD immersion programme...
It was a wonderful visit as part of PhD immersion programme of IIM Ranchi with Keele University. The visit to London Bridge, Cruise on Thames, National Arts Gallery, Museum, Madam Tushaad , Buckingham Palace, Oxford Street, Lords Stadium was enjoyable.
The bus service " The Original Tour" was really good for seeing London. The food at Anand Bhavan was tasty and authentic indian flavour.

I and my family had a great positive experience, we would have stay for long, but we need to resume work immediately, precisely 28th August. Everything we needed was put in place before we even got there. A fast and reliable customer service, a quality breakfast, their facilities is a top notch. And it’s a city center, we visited few mall, I love it in city suite Manchester

I always enjoy blackpool . Love to go to the showbar and central pier., The weatherspoons is too small cant cope with the volume of people who attend esoecially on bank holidays often unable to get a table . Coral island food bar is value fir money .
You need to visit the circus cis this is fantastic never been disappointed the last 5 years

Liverpool is fairly local to us however we took my mother with us who is unsteady on her feet and can’t walk very far using a push along frame. Be prepared if around St Georges Hall or the Museum that taxis are no longer able to pick up in these areas and you have to walk to one of the surrounding roads to enable them to stop and pick you up. This is fine for able bodied people but not so much for disabled or elderly people. Not well thought out by the council I think, maybe one disabled pickup area maybe.

Since pedestrianisation, York is pleasant to stroll around. When cars were everywhere it was impossible to pass so many groups of tourists and unpleasant walking. Not any more. On the whole buildings are very well cared for and businesses surviving (not too many empty shops). There is a lot to see and all of great interest. And a walk around the walls is well worth while. The Minster is a must - you won't regret the expensive entry fee. But the best thing to do is quite free - (apart from buying the book) explore the snickleways of York. An incredible experience, something you can easily make fun for the kids, and with tremendous views. The Minster Refectory is our favourite place to eat, and there are numerous good pubs full of character - you can't go wrong.

Birmingham has some great Cantonese roast meat and rice restaurants, and most importantly, some of our closest family live here. The city feels clean, peaceful, and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. If I have the opportunity, I would love to come back and visit more often. It is a city that feels very special to us.

A big city with a wide range of attractions for the visitor.Accommodation to suit your budget. Traffic management good, walking and cycling easy. Buses frequent and staff excellent. I particularly enjoyed the ceili session musicians

The whole stay was really lovely.
The whole stay was really lovely. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was amazing and the breakfast was really nice too. The only very minor things I would have liked were some biscuits with the tea and coffee, and as the room was for two people, it would have been nice to have two of each fridge item rather than one KitKat and one of each drink. Those are genuinely just small picky points though, and overall we had a really nice stay.
