Holiday Inn Express was a very clean and well appointed place to stay for our trip. Staff on reception very polite and helpful especially explaining about the car park arrangements. Rooms were a little warm but a fan was delivered to the room to cool things down. The building itself was sympathetically renovated to accommodate the hotel. Only slight criticism the tables were sticky at breakfast.
I love Liverpool always have a great time when we come here. My favourite place to eat is Casa Italia, you need to book if going in the evenings as very busy and have to queue in the street. And on the other side of the road sitting on a bench is a statue of Elenor Rigby sculpted by Tommy Steele always worth crossing the road to look at. Another favourite place to eat is Spice City just a few doors away from Casa Italia. Friendly staff and good food. Neither of the restaurants are in your face and neither are over expensive. Our fav place to stay is the Premier Inn on Vernon Street. We have stayed in PI at the Albert Docks not up to normal PI standards and very expensive also stayed for one night and one night only The Hard Days Night Hotel, very nice, beautiful rooms but thought that you paid ott for the room's obviously I know it is a Beatles theme hotel for which you have to pay more, but still think it was a lot of money and wouldn't recommend the restaurant. Lovely and very friendly staff there, though couldn't fault them at all, same as the PI in Albert Docks lovely friendly staff. When visiting Liverpool I would recommend going on a bus tour of Liverpool. Its takes about hour, hour and a half (can't actually remember how long it took) but very informative and interesting
Lovely place to wander, loads of lovely bars restaurants and shops. Great museums and galleries, we loved the world museum and obviously the Tate. Had great craft beer at the Dead Craft Beer Company on Dale St, where the bar staff were second to none. Amazing breakfast at the Delfrey next door. We went to Shiraz for a meal, Turkish food, absolutely beautiful food at a good price, good portions and in a lovely intimate setting, the staff were lovely too. We stayed at the bridewell prison hotel which was very cool, great quirky place to stay, lovely comfy beds and clean modern rooms.
I had no expectations but had only heard good things from other people - Liverpool is a fantastic city! The Titanic Hotel Liverpool is an amazing hotel and the rooms fantastic for a young couple, well worth the extra money for its quality and luxury. The city Centre has some beautiful architecture, the pubs have real character and the locals are very friendly. Shopping is vast and food + drink is cheap in comparison to the South - you cant go wrong!! Really worth a visit!!
An exceptionally friendly place. The taxi driver (black cab) who took us from Lime Street to our hotel was proud of his city and enthusiastically recommended places to visit and places to eat. A real ambassador to the city. Incredible architecture, well laid out museums and a huge number of places to stay. Favourite places: Anglican Cathedral and the Walker Art Gallery Eating Place: The Pump House - reasonably priced and good quality pub food Hotel - Hampton by Hilton
There is so much to do, we stayed two nights and only did a bus tour, The Beatles Story, The Cavern and the National Trust tours of Paul Macartney and John Lennon's childhood homes, but what we did was fantastic. We wanted to stay longer as there is so much more to do. We stayed at The Titanic Hotel which was about 2 miles from the town centre but it was perfect for us. The hotel was full of atmosphere and friendly staff, large spacious rooms, good cocktail bar and fantastic restaurant. We used taxi's to get into town and back to the hotel, once in the town we used the yellow city discovery tour bus, excellent personalised commentary that was different depending on the guide, we hoped on and off the bus when we wanted and it was valid for 24 hours, bargain. Can't wait to go back as we want to do the museums, the cathedrals, the library, art galleries and a ferry across the Mersey!

Out of all the places I booked in England during my trip, despite the fact I paid the most per night at this hotel compared to the others, it was just amazing. Cozy room, comfy bed...at times I would forget that I was 4500 miles away from home! Less than a 10 minute walk from a gorgeous cathedral! Highly recommend to any solo traveler, and though I never saw the other rooms, I'm sure it's just as good for those going with a friend/partner/etc.

We loved Hard Days Night Hotel. The location is perfectly situated to walk to great spots such as The Cavern Club and Liverpool Museum. There are amazing restaurants only steps away. We went on an incredible Taxi Beatle Tour right from the hotel. Staying at the Hard Days Night gave us the full Beatle’s experience. I recommend everyone stay there when going to Liverpool.

The beautiful building which has that special English Grace!!!! Size of the hotel is huge still very cosy and comfortable. My Mum and me have loved our stay so much that instead of staying for 3 days as planned, we were continuously extending our stay for another 4 :))) On our arrival we were greeted by a very polite receptionist Andrey who has put us in a lovely and spacious room and who was extremely helpful throughout all our stay. And another special thanks goes to the staff who have made so special our Christmas Day!!! Thank You Adelphi!!!

The room 314 was perfect t with two doible beds and a single. It's a little gem inside as the outside it looks a little run down. Great location close to the train station and the centre of town. Awesome places to eat up near the town hall. We ate at Bacaro and mogli which were both incredible fresh food establishments. The beds were comfortable and well looked after.
