Its pleasant to walk around the docks development, marina, the Liver building, the Pierhead, lots of bars and restaurants, Beatles attraction, the Tate Modern etc. to choose from. Worth taking the Mersey ferry round trip, about GBP11 per adult for a trip of about an hour, with commentary during the trip pointing out history and features of the city. Liverpool One is good for shopping and relaxing listening to Piano music. There are lots of busy bars, cafes and restaurants all around the city centre, all cuisines catered for. Visit the Cathedrals for two very different architectural styles, both are free to enter of course. Don't miss the Philharmonic dining rooms on Hope street while you are at the top of town, olde world treat with good food and a wide selection of drinks. Feel free to say hello to the locals, they are a friendly bunch.
The city has a shopping area plenty of shops and lots to see and visit lots of places the people were nice and polite, next time we are going to come with more time to explore and see more of Liverpool ...

Liverpool is such a great city to go and visit. There are plenty of museums and attractions to go and see, and I really like that it has the feel of both a seaside town as well as a big city. Most stuff was within walking distance of the apartment we stayed at, which was really handy and great.
Liverpool is an interesting city with a lot to do and see. it is very rich in terms of architecture and museums. I went (partially) for the purpose of photography. There are also a lot of restaurants in Liverpool covering a wide range of cooking styles and nationalities. We visited our first Yemeni restaurant while there. We were able to walk everywhere and never used public transport or our car. My main disappointment was The World Museum. It seemed like something from the 1950s and 60s. Eclectic and old-fashioned and poorly displayed/lit. However, the Maritime Museum was the opposite (a truly great museum) that brought history to life.
After London fireworks and concert were cancelled on new years eve. I have decided with my girlfriend to go to liverpool for firework display. We choose this hotel as it was cheapset good rated hotel. Staff member was nice to begin with. I could not remember the name of his but was very polite and helpful. Quickly have checked us into the hotel. Location was brilliant as it was only lile 5 minutes walk to albert docks which is what we wanted to see. Bed was very comfortable and provided us with standard coffee and cups.
The Ibis was easy to find, and off-site parking was conveniently located within walking distance of lots of sights and restaurants. The staff at Reception could have used a smile or two, but we checked in without a hitch. It seems all of Liverpool is Beatles-themed, as was our room! It was a little cramped, but not unusually so for a city hotel. It was clean, comfortable and the bedding was very nice. Buffet breakfast was served in the lobby area, but we had no difficulty finding a table.
Location was perfect straight across the road from Liverpool Lime Street Street. Speedy, friendly check in. Room was perfect, one of the best nights sleep we have ever had in a hotel - very quiet. Bed was so comfy, excellent toiletries, tea tray and little things like a choice of pillows if you want and additional toiletries free from reception if you need them. Breakfast was great - everything you could want and all freshly prepared, staff again were super friendly and welcoming.
On arriving I was early for check in but staff let me store my luggage whilst I went to the theatre. I was also upgraded to a superior double room, which was very spacious, spotlessly clean and had a lovely comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful with directions when asked. Within 5 minutes walk to the Empire theatre and Liverpool one and about 7 minutes to the Albert docks. Right in the city centre. Would stay again.
Nice hotel in a good location. Front desk staff were helpful, charming and so polite. The room wasn’t big, but it was beautifully decorated, clean and fresh, with a good view. Got a decent evening meal and a nice breakfast at the hotel. My visit to Liverpool was too short; but of 11 days in England, this was the day I enjoyed the most. Having a “Beatles Tour” of the city helped to make it special !
A lovely stroll away to Albert Docks and the amenities in Liverpool City Centre. Being slightly East of the City Centre allows for a smooth entry/exit to the M62. Quiet location. Rooms cleaned daily and tea/coffee/biscoff topped up, which is not often found in the tourism industry. More than likely to use the hotel again for future visits to Liverpool.
We stayed in a luxury King suite which had adequate space, well furnished, good safe (no extra charge), good quality, modern furnishings and comfortable bed. Good TV, functional WIFI. Excellent central location to city centre, Albert docks and Liverpool One. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Would stay again.
Location- close walking distance to Liverpool Lime Street station and can catch the 500 bus to John Lennon airport just around the corner. city centre, good bars and restaurants all 5 mins walk away. docks 15 mins walk. double room comfortable bed, little bit noisy but slept very well. Staff were lovely and very helpful.
Liverpool
Absolutely loved it. In right city centre, close to all the bars, clubs, shops etc. Loved the apartment as well, had everything we needed to make quick meals, very comfy bed, not much noise from the streets. All staff members lovely and helpful. Will definitely go back there next time we’re in Liverpool.
Felt like walking into a blissful sanctuary from the city outside. Very modern decor throughout the hotel and room, and impeccably clean! There were lovely, friendly and helpful staff on reception for our stay. Good central location close to city centre, train stations and the docks.
Basic hotel get what you pay for. Lot better what a expected. Booked as knew the location which is very central Liverpool so won’t get cheaper for this price with such a great location!! Room was clean, warm and comfortable. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Will stay again.
Pretty big room, and reasonably sized bathroom. Very good wifi service. Rather minimal (but considering the price, totally acceptable) service. The hotel is in a very central location, just off the Strand and 5 minutes away from the Liverpool One shopping mall.
The hotel was clean and modern, friendly staff and breakfast was decent. The location was good, opposite the Albert Docks and just a short walk away from the city centre and shops. Room was a good size and had all amenities needed
Clean, well maintained apartment . Excellent and detailed communication by host, very responsive by Whatsapp also. Safe car parking space. Location excellent, walkable to Liverpool docks/ city centre/ conference centre etc
Room were comfortable; location was good for football ground, the docks and city centre. Staff were very helpful. Hotel was quiet; breakfast was good buffet.
Best place to stay in Liverpool if you are a Beatles fan. Wonderful location, friendly staff, lots to look at inside the hotel
This a funky hotel, very clean and big rooms. The gym and spa are very nice too.
