The location was perfect, very near the train station and the places we wanted to visit in the city. There are nice shops and good restaurants near the hotel. The room was clean and breakfast was OK.

This hotel's central location made it incredibly convenient to explore everything on foot. The staff were excellent, and the simple yet good restaurant offered friendly service. Our room was spacious, and overall, we had a great stay.

Great room, great location, great breakfast

The Shankly Hotel is in a fantastic location and makes a great first impression with its beautiful exterior and interior design. At first glance, our room looked stunning, and the overall decor throughout the hotel is visually appealing. However, once inside, it becomes clear that the hotel needs some maintenance and refurbishment. The floors in our room were lifted, and various areas showed signs of wear and peeling. Despite this, the room was clean, and the beds were both clean and very comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep. Overall, the hotel has great potential and a lot of charm, but it would really benefit from some updates and repairs to match the high standard it aims to present.

The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. The bed is extra comfortable. Location is great for access to the airport. Handy having the retail park right across the road.

At breakfast there was a wide choice of options. However, it was unclear if there was any other option apart from Scrambled Eggs

Location, lovely and helpful staff, clean and cozy room, wi-fi was really good, basement car park. Would stay again.

Breakfast was above and beyond expectations. The reception foyer had great seating to accommodate our large family meetings. Parking was convenient as was access to local sites and restaurants.

I spent this xmas 2025 at Ibis style hotel for the 1st time ,its near (by walk to all xmas market ,train and bus stations ,cavern clubs ,restaurands bars and even supermarkets ,,,very tidy hotel ,helpfull host especialy Greta and i want to thank the chef for the good breakfast and the mincepies ,muffins and crossants made freshly everyday ,I would definetly recomment IBIS STYLE hotel happy New year xx

Fantastic conversion that celebrates the old with the new. I like the dark corridors, although lots of others did not. Short taxi into town and beautiful place to relax and stay. Rooms are outstanding

A stunning luxury hotel, the Spa was just what we wanted for a girls weekend, great that you could order drinks to the pool. Lovely food in the Palm Bar restaurant. Also walking distance to other bars and restaurants in Liverpool

Everything was perfect, it was very clean. The staff were nice, close to city centre and next to the Chinatown. Amazing.
