Very easy to get around Stanwell and the village and grocery store is walking distance. Make sure to get individual Oyster Cards if you plan on using the public transit systems - buses and trains! Even though it is close to the airport, it is silent at night time!! The photos on the site are accurate and provide a nice snapshot of what you're getting - a very cute, comfortable home away from home!

If you have vertigo like me, the airport is a bit of a nightmare due to very long escalators and walkways. The food and drink in the hotel was expensive and not that great. Tip from me is to take bus to Uxbridge and if nice, walk along the canal. There is a great pub called The Swan and Bottle that has a very extensive men. The food is better than the hotel and cheaper.

The price was the real selling point. In every other respect, the property was functional and basic. The worst point was that the bathroom didn't shut properly and we were staying with our adult son.

Local transport good available transport to centre of london and outskirts. shopping area good only downside a lot of building and road works going off At moment watch where you walk on pavements some unsafe paths which we encountered to our cost hard to complain to council about incidents and response not the best

We arrived 11pm No facilities available for a cup of tea or coffee Very disappointed . Our room was very clean and comfortable.. Sharad bathroom was clean and comfortable . minor changes would definitely get me to book again. Right now I wouldn't recommend it
