Kissing Gate Cottage is located in the small friendly village of Ebrington and just two miles to the east of Chipping Campden. Situated amongst the rolling hills of the North Cotswolds, the village of Ebrington, known locally as ‘Yubberton’, dates back to the 15th Century, although the local Church, St Eadburgh is listed in the Doomsday Book of 1086. Today, Ebrington is a picturesque Cotswold Village, full of Cotswold Stone cottages, many of which have retained the traditional thatch. The village still hosts the Church, Primary School and an award winning Pub and Restaurant, The Ebrington Arms, who have also launched their own craft beer under the banner of 'The Yubberton Brewing Co.' Just outside the main village, there is also a fabulous farm shop / cafe, Vegetable Matters, where the majority of vegetables are grown in the fields around the village! There are many public footpaths and circular walks in and around the village.
