The South Cornwall community of Par has a dog- and family-friendly beach on St. Austell Bay that is sandy and open all year long. The famed Eden Project, which can be accessed on foot through the lush Luxulyan Valley, is only 2.5 miles from the hamlet. The Gribbin Peninsula, which is located between Par and the charming harbour of Fowey, offers stunning views of the nearby coastline and is a great place to go for a walk.
