I suppose its only fair to mention Polzeath and the beach are surrounded by beautiful cliffs which does mean, there are but a few properties that can boast a NO HILL retreat. Furthermore ' The Point Golf Course ' is merely 10 meters away in the other direction. Shilla Mill is Special for being famed to be the first Property to be built in Polzeath in 1591ad retaining many original figures of the time period, such as the floor Joists are all Shipwrecked Timbers and there is also a Lions Head Figurine. The property has been modified to allow modern living and for those winter holiday, there are two log burning stoves in the property. Shilla Mill is also famed for being a favourite working place for Sir John Betjeman the famous Poet. Shilla Mill can proudly be found mentioned in one or more of his published Poems. This would be a home away from home, big property and steeped with history. Pretty setting that attracts many heads - and no hills !

Shilla Mill is merely 500 yards from the Beach with no hills to climb. Steeped in history, the property seems miles from everything but its really at arms length. The Point Golf Course greens are surrounding and providing views, and a pathway to the club house and Restaurant is 20 meters away. Valley views with neighbouring campers also there to enjoy the surf. Coastal paths and National Trusts Cafes etc for the walkers, there are the amenities of Polzeath available by foot. A Car would be required to explore Cornwall such as Eden Project
