Dating from 1815, Marlacoo House, offers the chance to stay in a stunning Georgian farmhouse in a gorgeous country estate situated conveniently between Belfast and Dublin. The perfect place to base yourselves whilst you visit Ireland, or simply a place to retreat from the world and enjoy quality time with friends and family. You will have full access to the grounds and we welcome pets.
My husband grew up in Marlacoo House, and we recently took the decision to take the house on ourselves, using it for our own family stays but also wanting others to be able to enjoy the house and its setting. We are both from Northern Ireland, and can give you lots of advice on local routes for walking, running etc and also what to do locally and further afield road
You will need your own transport when staying at the house. Portadown train station provides an excellent train service to both Belfast and Dublin, the Enterprise Service provides the fastest train journeys -please visit Translink for more information and timetables.
