Menzies Steading is situated 2 miles outside of Aberfeldy on Castle Menzies Farm, in the beautiful Highland Perthshire - A perfect location to explore the whole of Scotland. Aberfeldy is only 75 miles North of Edinburgh and Glasgow with the surroundings offering many suitable activities for all ages. The building was converted in 2017 and is surrounded by other farm cottages & stone buildings. There is good access to the river walking paths and Castle Menzies and it is a dog & child friendly property.

The owners Mike & Kate along with son James farm the land that surround the properties . Mike has a long history in Aberfeldy, having been born and raised here, whilst Kate is originally from Australia and moved here in 1993 after they were married. James joined the management team after completing an Engineering degree at Harper Adams University in 2018. Having met skiing this is still a huge passion for them all, they also enjoy rallying, all outdoor pursuits (of which there are plenty in this area!), travelling, great meals & good wine! Their team, without whom the whole business would not run so smoothly, include; Fiona (the wonderful housekeeper), Ciprian (amazing groundsman & decorator) and Morag with her fantastic cleaning squad. Aberfeldy is one of Scotland's best-known holiday towns and offers a complete antidote to modern day stresses. Built up in the late 18th Century around Wades Bridge which was the first crossing of the Upper River Tay in 1733. Aberfeldy has a host of fine retail shops and galleries varying from traditional to the more contemporary. It makes a great base for walking, golfing (4 courses nearby & Gleneagles a 45min drive) angling (trout permits available or ask us about Salmon Lets) and for the more energetic canyoning, white water rafting, abseiling, bouldering and cliff jumping.
