Built in 1934, with many original features, this beautiful detached Bungalow Chalet style home is situated in a quiet neighbourhood of Holland-On-Sea and within 10 minutes walk from the sea. Away from the main road, you will experience peace and quiet and on a clear night you will see the stars, there is no light pollution here. There are only Two rooms available, 1 Single and 1 Twin. Bathroom and toilet facilities are shared with the host and other guests if you are not booking both rooms. There are also 2 cats in residence. This is a simple home, no airs or graces, just clean, comfortable and welcoming. Holland-On-Sea is situated between Clacton and Frinton, there are regular buses along Frinton Road and within walking distance of the Oakwood Inn and Mafia's Brasserie. Clacton Main Line Station is 10 minutes by Car or Bus and serves London and Colchester, trains are hourly.

I moved from London to Holland-On-Sea along with my 2 cats Bindi and Seeta almost 2 years ago. Living by the sea is special, it is a peaceful and tranquil place away from the hustle and bustle of city life. There is something special about hearing the Seagulls and being able to look up at the sky at night and see so many stars. I have many interests and hobbies all of which are reflected in my home.

Holland-On-Sea is situated between Clacton-On-Sea and Frinton-On-Sea, there are regular buses along Frinton Road and the property is within 10 minutes walking distance of the sea front. There is a small parade of local shops along Frinton Road and Kings Avenue offering pharmacies, hairdressers, mini supermarkets and giftshops, if you fancy afternoon tea, you can visit Grandma Lilys Tea Room. There are 2 public houses offering alcohol and food these are The Roaring Donkey and The Oakwood Inn. You can enjoy traditional English Fish & Chips at The Golden Fillet or Wine and Dine in style at either The Mayflower Chinese Restaurant or Mafia's Brasserie. Everything you need is within 5 - 10 minutes walk from Merrilees Crescent. Further a-field is Walton-On_The-Naze approximately 20 by bus or car. Clacton Town Centre is 10 minutes away by bus or car has a variety of restaurants and shops as well as a pier, you can enjoy the sea view from the promenade garden. Clacton also boasts 2 Theatres, The Westcliff and The Princes Theatre, offering a variety of shows for a splendid night out. The Main Line Train Station serves both London and Colchester with direct trains every hour.
