The accommodation was exceptionally clean and tidy, the owners were there to greet us and were very welcoming, even had home made flapjack which was divine! We had a full English at a time that suited us in the morning which was delicious and set us up for a busy day.

Old Skool Accommodation is a converted village school, originally built in 1910. The conversion to it's current form was completed in 2013. The accommodation consist of five spacious and comfortable rooms, all ensuite with wifi throughout. Guests have access to all communal areas, This includes our cosy tv room with comfy sofas and log burner, sun room, outdoor seating, dining area and guest kitchen with access to a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and always plenty of cake. !DUE TO CURRENT RESTRICTIONS, COMMUNAL AREAS MAY BE UNAVAILABLE DURING YOUR STAY - in this eventuality, meals will be served to your room where tea/coffee making facilities and dining table and chairs will be made available!
Lewis and Danielle moved to Wales to run The Old School in 2017. They are keen mountain bikers and have plenty of local knowledge regarding hiking, cycling and beauty spots to help get the most from your stay.
The location of the schoolhouse is perfect for mountain bikers and hikers with Coed y Brenin just a 5 mile, off road ride. We have secure, alarmed bike storage, bike wash and plenty of room outside to tinker with your bikes. Our nearest pubs and restaurants are 8miles away with very limited public transport so a car is advised.
