For eating out, there are a number of good options in the town of Jedburgh, including The Carters Rest and The Capon Tree, along with a number of takeaway options. The Caddy Mann Restaurant (3.5 miles) sits between Jedburgh and Kelso and is renowned for serving excellent local fayre amidst warm ambient surroundings (but do check the opening times on their website first).
