This is a lovely spacious, comfortable cottage centrally located in Haddington. We arrived to find milk and juice in the fridge and wine, chocolates and coffee. Very welcome. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 at each end of the property. The separate kitchen is located in the middle, with an open plan lounge diner next door. The bathroom is next to 1 of the bedrooms. There is also a conservatory with views onto the private outside space. We had a lovely stay, thank you.

We have lovingly restored this property and have spent many happy holidays here ourselves. Haddington is a lovely friendly town and is perfectly situated for visiting the magnificent festival city of Edinburgh (one of our most favourite places ) or for a day at any one of East Lothian's stunning beaches. The property has 2 bedrooms, one at either end of the house and one bathroom. The conservatory is a lovely place to sit although there is so much to do in East Lothian we are not sure you will have much time to sit still! The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher. The property sits within a walled courtyard and you can park your car inside the gates. A table and chairs provide a lovely area for sitting outside in the sunnier weather (well East Lothian is officially the sunniest place in Scotland after all!) Children are very welcome and a cot and high chair can be provided free of charge. The bathroom has a walk in shower and is ideal for the less mobile. We have our own cottages and lovingly look after other peoples as if they were our own too. We would love to welcome you to Painters Cottage which we lovingly restored ourselves and spend many happy holidays here too.
Haddington is a lovely market town with friendly people and Painters Cottage is in a private setting right in town with a walled courtyard and secure parking. It has many lovely places to eat and is set between the coast with miles of golden beaches and the magnificent festival city of Edinburgh.Award winning attractions are nearby such as the Scottish Sea Bird Centre and Our Dynamic Earth. East Links family park is a great fun day out near Dunbar and there are many walks and parks. Haddington has a swimming pool and many sporting activities at the leisure Centre. Dunbar Leisure pool has lots of different swimming areas and a wave machine as well as a large slide. We just love spending time here ourselves with our son and really hate when its time to go home, we hope you love it here as much as we do. East Lothian is a simply enchanting place which we are sure you will fall in love with.
