Windsor town centre is a stone's throw and provides an abundance of shops and banks. PLACES TO EAT & DRINK There is an amazing choice of restaurants and bars in the area. On the doorstep you’ve got all manner of cuisines to choose from. Head to GoGos (5 mins in car) to kickstart your day with a yummy breakfast by the river. Our Favourites: GoGos Waterfront (fancy breakfasts), Musugo (Japanese), Viceroy (Indian), Enzos (Italian), Meimo (Greek). THINGS TO DO, PLACES TO SEE Apart from it's 'Royal' fame, Windsor is an attractive and lively town, boasting a wide range of shops restaurants, pubs and coffee/tea shops as well as it's extensive parkland for walking, cycling and horse-riding. Windsor Town Centre is easily reached from the property and here you will find the iconic Windsor Castle, The Long Walk, the picturesque River Thames, and it is just a short walk away from Eton and the College. This is also an ideal base for visiting London and the Thames Valley. You are lucky to be surrounded by some great attractions which are suitable for everyone! Here’s a few ideas…….. Legoland is a great family day out, especially for the little ones! It is approximately 1 mile away and easily reached by car, bus or taxi. The Royal Windsor Racecourse is a 20 minute walk and well worth a visit on race day. You can even hop on the boat afterwards and head into Windsor town centre.
